In the past year 2024, 7,571 new objects were made available online, bringing the total number to 32,689 as of December 31! Despite this success, this represents just over five percent of the entire collection. These objects are tagged with around 212,000 keywords and the 24,087 entries in the reference search are matched by almost 78,000 internal citations.

The main increases in the year were the result of projects, with Ehsan Shavarebi completing the cataloging of the Erich Lindpaintner Collection and processing further parts of the Sasanian coins in the General Collection.

As part of the 'Kulturerbe digital' project funded by the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport and the KHM-Museumsverband, David Burisch and Kathrin Siegl have inventory and publish a total of 5,162 coins since the start in summer 2023.

With the support of the Ronus Foundation, Emilie Hager and Benedikt Prokisch have made significant holdings of modern Habsburg coinage, from Sigismund to Maximilian II, accessible online.
